Outline: Come enjoy a nice recreational day of cross-country skiing and socializing, with family and friends. You can ski to your heart’s delight along some of the best cross country ski trails that Manitoba has to offer. Afterwards you can warm yourself up in our heated clubhouse while indulging in a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

2016/2017 Cross-Country Ski Program Registration

Outline: With all the snow that Birch Ski Area has received, Birch Mountain Sports (BMS) has starting its ski program for the season!

This season's cross-country ski program registration has started and is still in full swing. If you are just thinking of registering, no problem, there is still a lot of fun activities that you can join. 

If you are not able to make it out for registration you can register online by clicking on the Zone4.ca button below. 

This year there will be 10 jack rabbit ski sessions, along with a hot dog day and wind-up. We hope to get some full moon skiing in as well as biathlon clinics.

It is with heavy harts that we announce that Doug Keith passed away at the age of 82 on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Carman Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place.

Doug was a longtime enthusiast and promoter of youth sports and activities in the Central Area. He dedicated his time and efforts to cross-country skiing and running race events at Birch Ski Area for over 20 years.

Members of BMS would like to extend their sympathies to Keith's extended family and longtime friends.

Doug will be missed by the Birch family.
